Requesting Local Materials
The library will scan portions of print books and send them to your Trinity email account. To make a digitization request, use Primo.

Step 1: Sign in to Primo.

Step 2: Enter the search terms. Remember that Primo searches the library catalog and other Trinity resources (like articles). Select the "Library Catalog" option to limit your results.

Step 3: From the list of results, select a book to see its record in Primo. If you scroll down the page, you should see a list of the book's section or chapter titles next to "Contents." Locate the section or chapter you're interested in.

Step 4: Scroll up the page, and find the "Digitization" link. It should be under "Get It" and next to "Request."

Step 5: Fill out the form. You must include the chapter or article title in your request. If you do not, the request will be denied. Indicate if you want the full chapter by checking the box. Include any questions in the comment box. Select "Send Digitization Request." Wait to see the green confirmation box before leaving the page.

Step 6: It may take a few days for library staff to respond to your request. You will receive an email from library@trnty.edu with an attached PDF of the scanned portion of the book.

All digitization requests must abide by U.S. Copyright law. A library staff member will contact you with any follow-up questions or concerns.
